What this is (and is not). It is a 24V-class DC energy-storage battery, not a charger, not a solar charge controller and not an inverter (it has no built-in mains outlet). Its eight 3.2V cells are wired 8S1P (8 in series, 1 parallel string) to give 25.6V nominal, the "24V class" figure motorhomes and boats use. Keep two numbers straight: it holds 2560Wh (25.6V × 100Ah) and its 2560W DC ceiling (25.6V × 100A) is what lets it run an 1800W appliance — about double the 1280W of a 12V 100Ah. To charge it you need a 25.6V / 28.8V LiFePO4 charger; to run mains appliances you add a separate 24V-rated inverter. Do not mix it with 12V batteries on the same bus.
Specification note — read before you size your loads or fit it. (a) Headline size and weight: the product-specific diagrams give 520 × 250 × 320 mm (L×W×H over the terminals) and 21.15 kg net (~46.6 lb). (b) Pulse / peak current: use 400A for one second for startup inrush (not continuous). Treat 400A/1s as the planning figure before wiring any high-startup load.

Pick the right GSIKE voltage — this 25.6V 100Ah vs the 12.8V 100Ah and 12.8V 300Ah siblings

Same GSIKE line, three SKUs. This page sells the 25.6V 100Ah (the 24V-class pack). The table below compares it against the two 12V-class siblings so you can choose by voltage and use case. The decisive difference: at 25.6V the same 100A BMS delivers 2560W — double the 1280W of the 12V 100Ah — while pulling half the current for the same watts.

Why the 24V class: energy (Wh) and power (W) are different. Doubling the voltage from 12.8V to 25.6V with the same 100A BMS doubles the DC ceiling to 2560W, which is why this pack — not the 12V 100Ah — can run an 1800W load. It also halves the cable current for the same watts, so runs cooler with thinner cables. Full reasoning is in the linked voltage guide below.

Lead-acid replacement — two 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries in series (24V)

This 25.6V pack is the direct replacement for two 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries wired IN SERIES to make 24V. Because LiFePO4 safely delivers close to its full capacity while flooded lead-acid is limited to about 50% depth of discharge, one GSIKE 25.6V 100Ah gives roughly 2.1× the usable energy of that lead-acid pair.

Metric One GSIKE 25.6V 100Ah LiFePO4 Two 12V 100Ah flooded lead-acid (in series = 24V)
Nominal energy 2560 Wh ~2400 Wh nameplate (2 × 1200 Wh)
Usable energy (DoD) ~2560 Wh at ~100% usable DoD ~1200 Wh at ~50% DoD for longevity
Usable multiple ~2.1× more usable energy than the lead-acid pair
Cycle life >6000 cycles @100% DoD ~500 cycles
Weight 21.15 kg net ~55–60 kg for the pair
Maintenance None (no watering, no equalisation) Watering / venting / equalisation
Mixing warning: this is a single 24V-class (25.6V) bus. It replaces the two-lead-acid series pair — do not wire it in parallel with 12V packs, and do not present it as a 12V parallel-bank replacement. When you later add units, match identical models within about one month of age / charge history.

Expected run-time by load (2560 Wh ÷ load)

Ideal DC runtimes at the 2560Wh nameplate, before derating. Keep every continuous load at or below the 2560W ceiling. The 1800W row is valid because 1800 < 2560 — that is the whole point of the 24V class over a 12V 100Ah (which tops out at 1280W and could not run it). When running through a separate 24V inverter, derate by about 90–95% efficiency and leave depth-of-discharge headroom.

Load Example use Runtime (2560 Wh nameplate)
50 W LED lights + router + phone charging 51.2 h
100 W Lights + fan + laptop + small pump 25.6 h
120 W Compressor fridge running steady 21.33 h
300 W Fridge + TV + fan + lighting 8.53 h
500 W Fridge + small kitchen loads 5.12 h
800 W Fridge + microwave cycles + chargers 3.2 h
1000 W Higher leisure / small appliance load 2.56 h
1800 W Larger appliance (valid: 1800 < 2560 ceiling) 1.42 h
2560 W Full manual DC ceiling 1.0 h

Charge settings & operating temperatures

Item Specification
Charge method CC/CV (constant current, constant voltage)
Charge voltage 28.8–29.2 V (28.8V ±0.4V) — a dedicated 25.6V LiFePO4 profile; a 12V charger (~14.6V) will not finish the job
Recommended charger 25.6V LiFePO4 charger, 20–100 A; the BMS allows up to 100 A continuous charge
Discharge cut-off 20 V ±0.5 V end-of-discharge cut-off
Internal resistance ≤20 mΩ
Charge temperature 0 °C to 55 °C; do not charge below 0 °C (no self-heating element)
Discharge temperature −20 °C to 55 °C
Storage temperature −20 °C to 45 °C (within a month); 0–35 °C (within a year); store at ~50% charge

Expansion — 2S to 51.2V, 4P4S up to 40.96 kWh

The battery supports parallel and series building. Two units in series (2S) give 51.2V / 5.12kWh — the common 48V-class setup. 4P4S = four in parallel × four in series: 16 units total = 40.96 kWh (4S raises the voltage to 102.4V; 4P raises capacity to 400Ah; 102.4V × 400Ah = 40,960Wh).

Configuration Voltage Capacity Energy Units
1P1S (single) 25.6 V 100 Ah 2.56 kWh 1
2P1S (parallel) 25.6 V 200 Ah 5.12 kWh 2
2S (series, common 48V) 51.2 V 100 Ah 5.12 kWh 2
4P1S 25.6 V 400 Ah 10.24 kWh 4
4P4S (max) 102.4 V 400 Ah 40.96 kWh 16
Matching rule: when wiring units in series or parallel, use batteries that are identical in model and matched within about one month of production / charge history. Do not mix new and heavily-used units in one bank, and keep the whole bank on the 28.8V charge profile with the 20V cut-off.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • 2560Wh at ~100% usable DoD with a 2560W DC ceiling — the 24V class runs an 1800W appliance, which a 12V 100Ah (1280W) cannot. Same 100A BMS, double the voltage, half the cable current.
  • >6000 cycles at 100% DoD and ~10-year design life with zero maintenance — roughly 2.1× the usable energy of two 12V 100Ah lead-acid in series, at 21.15 kg versus ~55–60 kg.
  • €279.99 struck from €420.00 — the cheapest verified single-unit branded EU-storefront 24V 100Ah pack: LiTime €499.99, Renogy self-heating €469.99, Power Queen €479.99, Redodo €439.99 — with free EU shipping and 30-day returns.
  • Expandable: 2S to 51.2V / 5.12kWh (common 48V) and 4P4S to 16 units / 40.96kWh, so one starter unit grows into a larger bank.
  • IP65 ABS case, M8 terminals, CE/RoHS/UN38.3 — at home in a damp motorhome locker, caravan bay, boat compartment or workshop.
  • Real buyer rating 4.9 / 5 from 14 reviews, praising the higher voltage / lower cable loss, quick solar charging and the Easun BMS protection.

Cons

  • Needs 24V-class gear. You must pair it with a 24V / 25.6V inverter and a 28.8V LiFePO4 charger — a 12V inverter and a 12V (~14.6V) charger will not work on this pack.
  • 21.15 kg is heavier and larger than a 12V 100Ah (~9.8 kg). Plan a two-person lift into a locker or boat compartment.
  • Do not mix with 12V batteries directly — it is a single 24V bus; never parallel it with 12V packs.
  • Match identical units within ~1 month of production / charge history for series or parallel; never mix new and worn cells in one bank.
  • No cold charging below 0°C (charge window 0–55°C; discharge works down to −20°C). Unlike Renogy self-heating or LiTime low-temp rivals, this pack has no heater and no app/Bluetooth monitoring.
  • Not for golf carts — this is a 24V leisure / deep-cycle pack, not a traction battery for golf-cart drive current.

Frequently asked questions

Why choose a 24V (25.6V) battery over a 12V 100Ah — what does the higher voltage actually buy me?

With the same 100A BMS, doubling the voltage from 12.8V to 25.6V doubles the continuous DC ceiling: 12.8V×100A = 1280W, while 25.6V×100A = 2560W. That is why this pack can run an 1800W appliance (1800 < 2560), whereas a 12V 100Ah tops out at 1280W and cannot. For the same wattage the current is halved, so the runs cooler and you can use thinner cables with less voltage drop. You pay about €120 more than the 12V 100Ah for that power headroom and the 2.56kWh of energy.

Can I use my existing 12V LiFePO4 charger on this 25.6V battery?

No. This is an 8S1P 25.6V pack that needs a 28.8–29.2V CC/CV charge profile (28.8V ±0.4V), with a 20V cut-off. A standard 12V charger finishes at roughly 14.2–14.6V — less than half of the required charge voltage — so it will never fully charge this battery and could leave the cells chronically under-charged. Use a dedicated 25.6V LiFePO4 charger rated 20–100A.

Does this 25.6V battery really replace two 12V lead-acid batteries in series?

Yes. This pack is the direct replacement for two 12V 100Ah lead-acid batteries wired in series to make 24V. Those two lead-acid cells give about 1200 usable Wh at a 50% depth of discharge, while this LiFePO4 delivers the full ~2560 usable Wh near 100% DoD — roughly 2.1× the usable energy, in one 21.15kg unit instead of ~55–60kg of lead. Keep it on the 24V bus; do not parallel it with 12V packs.

How long will it run an 1800W load — is 1800W even valid on this battery?

It is valid: 1800W is below the 2560W DC ceiling, so it runs continuously rather than triggering the BMS. Dividing 2560Wh by 1800W gives about 1.42 hours. On the runtime table you also get 50W→51.2h, 300W→8.53h, 1000W→2.56h and, at the full 2560W ceiling, about 1.0h. Through a separate 24V inverter, derate by 90–95% efficiency and leave DoD headroom.

Can I mix this 24V battery with my existing 12V batteries?

No. This is a single 24V-class (25.6V) bus — do not wire it in parallel with 12V packs, and do not treat it as a 12V parallel-bank replacement. When you expand, add units that are identical in model and matched within about one month of production / charge history. Mixing new and heavily-used cells in one bank causes imbalance and shortens life; keep the whole bank on the 28.8V charge profile with the 20V cut-off.

How do I get to 48V — do two of these in series give me a 48V system?

Two units in series (2S) give 51.2V and 5.12kWh — that is the common "48V" nominal setup, and it is the usual route if you need a 48V-class inverter. At the top end, 4P4S (four parallel × four series) = 16 units for 102.4V and 400Ah, i.e. 40.96kWh. Always match identical units within about a month before wiring them in series or parallel.

What charger, cables and terminals do I actually need?

A 25.6V LiFePO4 charger delivering 28.8–29.2V CC/CV at 20–100A, with the battery's 20V cut-off respected. The terminals are M8 bolts (8mm bolt / 12mm nut), so fit battery lugs that match an M8 stud and size the cables for up to 100A continuous at 25.6V — thicker short cables keep voltage loss low. Because this is a 24V pack, pair it with a 24V-rated inverter, not a 12V unit.

Can it charge in winter, below freezing?

No. The charge window is 0°C to 55°C — do not charge below 0°C, because charging a LiFePO4 cell when it is cold can cause lithium plating and damage. It will still discharge down to −20°C. Unlike some rivals with a self-heating element or low-temperature charge cut-off, this pack has no heater and no app, so mount it where the space stays above freezing in winter.

The diagrams show 520×250×320mm and 21.15kg — why do other spec sheets list different numbers?

The product-specific diagrams we use as the headline give 520×250×320mm over the terminals and 21.15kg net. Other documents list slightly different case and box figures, most likely the bare ABS case versus the packaged / shipping dimensions rather than a second product. These alternate numbers are collected in the specification note on this page, and you should confirm the true case and box dimensions with the merchant before designing a battery bay.

What about the 400A pulse, the warranty, the price and the returns?

The 400A figure is a one-second pulse for startup inrush, not a continuous rating; one excluded marketing graphic labels a higher one-second peak, which we have not used — confirm the true peak with the merchant. The pack is priced at €279.99 struck from €420.00, in stock and new, with a 3-year warranty against a ~10-year design life. Shipping is free to 15 European countries (1–3 days handling plus 2–7 days transit), with 30-day returns by post.
